The Student Advice Centre
The Student Advice Centre is your go-to advice service in the Students Union currently working digitally to provide you with resources and advice during this period of isolation. Their advisers are well-versed on a range of subjects, so if you need help on Housing, Finance, Academic Issues, Mental Health referrals, or anything in-between; then check out their information pages, latest Covid-19 FAQs and book in if you still need advice at www.nusu.co.uk/sac. They are currently operating via Microsoft Teams (call, video or chat) appointments to deal with any queries. Let them know of any accessibility requirements when booking in and they can organise something in time for your appointment (for example a sign language interpreter).
The Student Advice Centre is independent from the University so they can offer fully independent, impartial, professional advice. They aim to help you find the best steps you need to take in order to remedy any situation. They follow a strict confidentiality policy, so you can be open and honest about any problems.
