Time management is Key:

Write down your exam dates and organise your study accordingly. Giving some exams more study time than others may help.

Visual aids:

While studying make short notes, use diagrams, colour coding and flowcharts. This can help you to quickly recall everything you need to know during the exam.

Take part in study sessions:

This is a good way to get answers to questions. Discussing an answer can help reinforce it, and highlight any areas where you need more work.

Take regular breaks:

While you may think it’s best to study for as many hours as possible, taking regular breaks can help long-term retention of knowledge.

Choose Brain food:

Hungry? Want some snack? Choose nutritious foods that have been proven to aid concentration and memory such as fish, nuts, seeds, yogurt and blueberries.

Drink lots of water:

Being well hydrated helps your brain work at its best. Be sure to keep drinking lots of water while studying, and also on exam day.

Remember your exam tools:

At least a night before your exams pack necessary tools such as pens, a ruler, a calculator, and a photo ID such as student smart card into your bag so you don’t forget them when leaving for your exam.

Get lots of rest:

Be sure to get enough rest before the exam day so you’re well rested. This can help you recall knowledge on the day!

Now you have these great tips for preparing for your exams, go smash it! Good luck!
