A hands on HR role from day on from the start; during this 12-month opportunity you will rotate through two, 6-month placements supporting Talent Acquisition and Development and our HR operations teams. You’ll contribute from day one and gain valuable exposure to the Global HR function.
Our mission is simple – to solve problems others ignore, true of all our people. In 2012 we were 3120 people. Today we’re over 10,000. We transform every category we enter. Our future is bright and the next few years will be our busiest yet. Each person is vital to our success. During our HR internship you’ll rotate through two 6-month placements supporting Talent Acquisition and Development and our HR operations teams, gaining priceless exposure to the Global HR function in a hands-on HR role from day one; a unique insight into Dyson’s commercial objectives. Taking on real responsibility, you’ll learn about the key HR processes, methodologies, relevant legislation, systems and the different roles within a Global HR function.
Home to our global Research, Design and Development centre and all our commercial functions, the Dyson HQ campus at Malmesbury lies in beautiful Cotswold countryside. In your Talent Acquisition & Development rotation, supporting a range of projects, you’ll learn how we support our business growth by locating and attracting talent to Dyson. The HR Operations team supports each individual Dyson journey, from setting up new starters, to processing changes as their careers develop.
Expecting to graduate in 2020, your degree discipline can be in any subject but we’ll want to see an understanding of how HR operates on a global level and strong motivation. Numeracy and analytical skills are a must. Comfortable with research, compiling findings and writing papers, you’ll be presenting ideas and engaging with senior stakeholders from the start so you must be articulate, credible and professional. In return you can expect £17,000 per annum, pro rata. Benefits include 27 days holiday and free on-site gym. If we’re suitably impressed, you could go back to your final year with a job offer upon Graduation.
